A Day to Recharge Both Physically and Spiritually

Relax and Recharge Cruise

The cruise was a beautiful experience. Meeting friends from around the world, laughing and having a good time. An interesting feature on our cruise was the theater downstairs. There they played a beautiful slide show of the local friends preparing for the convention. We had lunch with a lovely couple from Belize, We met friends from all over the United states - N. Carolina, Jersey, Pennsylvania. There we many friends who also came from South Africa. It was so nice meething them. they taught me a little bit of Zulu.

Encouraging Gathering

The encouraging gathering was just beautiful. We learned about much of the modern day theocratic history in Sweden and how many friends endure persecution and opposition.On the way to and from teh evening gathering, we can met 2 long time missionary couples who served in Africa. After the program was over, we also met a family from Israel. Very sweet. We also met need greaters in Bulivia. Speaking with them as well as the gilead missionaries.

What was so encouraging?

The people we met were the most encouraging. Whether it's getting to know some local friends who traveled 4,6, and even 12 hours just to volunteer, or expeeriencing the nature and scenery of Stockholm, it was so spiritually uplifting
